Kerala Flood Relief Fundraiser with AID

This year is truly special for a variety of reasons. Aarohon joining hands with AID, Portland Chapter, will donate the proceeds from their show towards the devastating Kerala flood relief and rescue effort. The situation in Kerala now has turned into a truly heart wrenching tragedy. An extraordinary southwest monsoon in Kerala has unleashed floods and landslides in the state, the magnitude of which has rarely been observed in recent memory.

A total of 1,067 relief camps have been set up across Kerala, providing shelter to more than 1.5 lakh people. These camps have been set up mostly at government schools, colleges, anganwadis, churches and auditoriums. Local private organizations and panchayats are supplying essential food items and water to these relief camps. But they need more, much, much more! And this is where you can help. Please come and support this worthy cause! I am sure you won’t be disappointed! Aarohon is bound to make you dance and rock your toes.
